My story

If you’re looking for a photographer in Trieste (though I’m happy to travel, even outside the region), I offer portrait, wedding and event photography.

Photography has always been part of my life: I still vividly remember trying to change the film in my father’s Pentax ME Super in a mountain hut near the Marmolada glacier (I still have that camera, and it takes excellent photos with its 50mm).

It’s a passion that has never faded, to the point that I am now a professional photographer.

I’ve been lucky enough to live through the shift from traditional, “analogue” photography to today’s digital photography, which often leads to an overload of “unthought-out” images crowding the social networks.

What I photograph

Studio portraits, weddings and a place to work with light.

03

I teach photography

Small-group courses in my studio, with hands-on lessons from the start.

I love teaching: for several years I taught computer science to all kinds of students, from secondary school pupils to apprentice courses and advanced courses for professionals.

I decided to go back to teaching by offering beginner photography courses here in Trieste, using my studio as a classroom so that lessons can be hands-on right from the start. Besides the beginner course, I also run an advanced photography course and a course on using flash (I love artificial light). An Adobe Lightroom course is also planned: essential software for managing and editing digital photos.

On the road

Travelling is one of my great passions: wherever I go, I always take my camera with me (and Ciak, my dog).

Camper van trips, trekking and life outdoors: my way of switching off and, at the same time, another school of photography, made of landscapes and natural light. I tell the stories on Gremo.it, my travel blog (in Italian), and in videos on my travel YouTube channel.
